How do TCP and UDP differ in the way they provide reliability for delivery of packets?

  1. TCP does not guarantee delivery or error checking to ensure that there is no corruption of data, UDP provides message acknowledgement and retransmits data if lost.
  2. TCP provides flow control to avoid overwhelming a receiver by sending too many packets at once, UDP sends packets to the receiver in a continuous stream without checking.
  3. TCP is a connectionless protocol that does not provide reliable delivery of data; UDP is a connection-oriented protocol that uses sequencing to provide reliable delivery.
  4. TCP uses windowing to deliver packets reliably; UDP provides reliable message transfer between hosts by establishing a three-way handshake.

Answer(s): B

What are two differences between optical-fiber cabling and copper cabling? (Choose two.)

  1. A BNC connector is used for fiber connections
  2. The glass core component is encased in a cladding
  3. The data can pass through the cladding
  4. Light is transmitted through the core of the fiber
  5. Fiber connects to physical interfaces using RJ-45 connections

Answer(s): B,D

How does CAPWAP communicate between an access point in local mode and a WLC?

  1. The access point must not be connected to the wired network, as it would create a loop
  2. The access point must be connected to the same switch as the WLC
  3. The access point must directly connect to the WLC using a copper cable
  4. The access point has the ability to link to any switch in the network, assuming connectivity to the WLC

Answer(s): D

  2. FC00::/7
  3. FE80::/10
  4. FF00::/12

Answer(s): D

What is the difference regarding reliability and communication type between TCP and UDP?

  2. TCP is not reliable and is a connectionless protocol; UDP is reliable and is a connection-oriented protocol.
  3. TCP is not reliable and is a connection-oriented protocol; UDP is reliable and is a connectionless protocol.

in question 272 the right answer states that an autonomous acces point is "configured and managed by the wlc" but this is not what i have learned in my ccna course. is this a mistake? i understand that lightweight aps are managed by wlc while autonomous work as standalones on the wlan.
